Which transfer regime applies to me?
This applies to members who place a quantity of 1,000 kg or more of packaging on the Portuguese market each year, covering all material categories.
Members of this type of regime have to fill in two annual declarations: the estimate map and the actual map, on the Members' Portal.
This applies to members who place a total quantity of packaging on the Portuguese market each year, covering all material categories, of less than 1,000 kg.

What is Electrão's role?
Electrão takes back used packaging by linking it to the national collection network, operated by the Municipal Waste Management Systems with thousands of collection points throughout the country.
Once collected, the used packaging is transported to sorting centers, where it is separated by type and material to ensure the best treatment. The materials are then sent to recyclers to be transformed into raw materials for the manufacture of new products.
