Which transfer regime applies to me?
This applies to members who place a quantity of 250 kg or more or 500 units of portable and industrial batteries and accumulators on the national market each year.
Members of this type of regime have to fill in two annual declarations: the estimate map and the actual map, on the Members' Portal.

What is Electrão's role?
Electrão collects used batteries through its own collection network, which consists of thousands of locations throughout the country, including waste-producing companies.
Once collected, Electrão transports the waste to sorting centres, where it is separated by type and material to ensure the best treatment. The materials are then sent to recyclers to be transformed into raw materials for the manufacture of new products.
