How does the Electrão collection service work?

The Electrão collection service is fast, free of charge and carried out by licensed partners who ensure that the waste is correctly sent for treatment.

To access this service, you need to register the organisation and facility from which you want to send waste for recycling on the Electrão Operating Platform - POpE.

This platform will be used to request packaging materials or to schedule collections.

Minimum waste quantity

Minimum quantity: 150kg

The minimum accumulated quantity of batteries, lamps and EE must exceed 150kg.

The waste must be on the ground floor or accessible by lift, with space for a lift truck or pallet truck.

Documents and proof of waste disposal through the collection service

To obtain a Wate Tracking Note (eGAR) on behalf of your organisation, simply enter the APA code of the site where the waste will be collected in the corresponding field when registering with POpE. This code is obtained by registering with the Integrated Environmental Licensing System.
