At Electrão we promote the circular economy

We act on all stages of the product life cycle and endeavour to continuously innovate to meet the challenges and objectives set by different sectors at different times, to promote a more sustainable future.

Design and Production

Design and Production

We support our members in developing more sustainable products through eco-design and the incorporation of raw materials from recycling.

Distribution

On the Ondedoar.pt platform, our members can donate surplus stock, thus avoiding waste.

Consumption - use, reuse and repair

Through awareness-raising initiatives and partnerships, we promote a more sustainable lifestyle, with a focus on reducing and reusing waste.

Collection

We managed a used stack collection network used throughout the country. We offer a free collection service to organizations and promote awareness campaigns, such as the Electron Head.

Recycling

Recycling is carried out through a network of operational partners, including transport operators, reception centres and treatment operators.

The waste is treated to remove hazardous components and recover raw materials.
